There are several nurseries and schools in Sammakorn, but it's unfortunate that there is little computer presence, since computers are a vital part of education for the 21st century. For this reason, we are offering a consultancy in educational and entertainment software for children. By entertainment, we mean learning in fun ways. There are companies in Thailand which design learning games for children in Thai, and also translate some of the best foreign games into Thai. Of course, there are also CDs for teaching Thai and English.

With most schools, we were also surprised to find disinterest in a website to show and advertise their schools. These are mostly language schools, nurseries, kindergartens and tutors.

Since education is so important, we plan to write up a section analyzing the differences between the Thai and American ways of teaching and school administration, as well as "the old ways of thinking" vs. "the new ways" in Thailand.

Here is the only school that took interest. In fact, they had already planned to do a website of their own before we rang their doorbell:
